Travel insurance for medical tourism

HEALTH TRAVELLER has been designed by Marcus Hearn specifically for those persons travelling abroad in order to obtain either medical treatment, dental treatment or cosmetic surgery.

Although there is no cover for your medical or cosmetic reason for travel, the policy removes one of the standard exclusions in travel insurance contracts  of 'travelling for the purpose of obtaining medical treatment'.

Standard travel medical insurance policies will generally automatically exclude ALL cover if you are travelling to obtain medical treatment.

Age 18 to 69
UK residents for at least 6 months
Medical travellers and those accompanying them

 Not for

People who:
Live outside the UK
Are travelling from anywhere other than the UK   :
Have psychological conditions such as stress, anxiety, depression, eating disorders or mental instability.
Have a condition that has been diagnosed as terminal
Are travelling against medical advice
Are awaiting or receiving treatment in a UK hospital
Are undertaking manual labour abroad
