DIGITAL RADIOGRAPHY. Very similar to digital photography this amazing technology allows us to view effective three-dimensional image and manipulate dental radiographs almost instantaneously. The benefit to you is approximately 90% less exposure to X-ray radiation. It also enables us to communicate any problems more effectively to you, as the image appears on a large LCD screen.

   VECTOR parodontitis therapy system

 
Scientists from the University of Jena have now found that the parodontitis therapy using the Vector method results in a significant reduction of the germ load in the pockets.

With the Vector system, which is based on ultrasonic technology, the dentist does not need to exert as much pressure on the tooth surface as with manual methods.

When compared to the usual method, this means: fewer microlesions at periodontium and tooth tissue as well as less swelling and fewer haematomas. This therapeutic method makes for good prospects all around: the reduction of germs, improved findings and the promotion of patient compliance.

STERILISATION & CLEANLINESS

Many patients are worried that they might expose themselves to infections when they entrust themselves to the care of a dentist. We understand the trust that you place in us and at our clinics we are committed to ensuring your safety in every way. This extends to the provision of hospital standard sterilisation using an autoclave (steam pressure sterilisation), once-only use of equipment where appropriate and the highest level of staff training.

Autoclave steam sterilisation.

All instruments capable of withstanding high temperatures are steam sterilised under pressure in an autoclave. ALL bacteria and viruses are killed. We have the latest generation of autoclave Andromeda-vacuum-xp-plus that operates under a vacuum to ensure that even hollow tubes for example, inside of a dental drill, are totally sterile

All items that cannot tolerate high heat, for example plastics, are disinfected in a chemical solution formulated to kill infectious bacteria and viruses.

Continuous sealing device TECNO-GAZ for the approved sealing of sterilized packaging such as transparent sterilized packs in accordance with EN 868. All the instruments as well as the impressions can be stored and transported under hygienically perfect conditions.

One-time use items

Many items are single-use and are disposed of after each patient. This includes all syringes (needles) and saliva ejectors (the plastic tips on the suction tube which are placed in the mouth to remove saliva).

Disposable gloves and masks

Gloves and masks are worn to prevent transmission of disease between you and us (both ways), as well as providing protection from transmitting any diseases between you and another patient in the practice. Gloves are never used on more than one patient.

Surface decontamination and barriers

All surfaces (counter tops, dental chair, light handles, etc.) are disinfected with a chemical solution again formulated to kill infectious bacteria, spores, and viruses.

Protective glasses

We wear glasses to protect our eyes from contamination as well as injury. You the patient wear them to eliminate the possibility of any foreign body injuring the eyes.
